Question about true duals price

well i wanted straight pipe b4 my muffler. like a turn down. but knowing the cops i would get pulled over. and b4 i have to smog i would just put the pipe back in place. i had a whole set up drawn out on how it would work but idk. plus even with my cats there it wouldnt be really loud. but duals http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLxV3eleYbs
thats how it should be done if you too lazy for an x-pipe. haha. still a nice set up though.

@panda have you looked at y exhuast cutouts that hot rods run. its a y pipe that caps off.

and this one is electric so u can run straight pipe until people are around that you dont want to hear and then switch to flow through muffler

yeah i saw those but if you have them on in cali they wont smog you. unless you pass the guy a $50. so not worth it. the way i was gonna go consisted of an extra 5" pipe that i could tighten around the pipe thats all ready there. so it looked like i had work done. then undo the bolts and be straight. i would do the 15 mins of work once every 2 years.
