Quick piping question

Guys I've got a question. I have a flowmaster super 10 on my 98 expy. If you are familiar with flowmasters, there is a sorta sealed hole nest to the hole where your pipe welds up to. I was wondering if an exhaust guy could cut it open and weld a pipe to it to run a single in dual out instead of buying a single in dual out muffler (lol kinda cheap I know)? also would they be able to make the pipe at there shop or will I need to buy piping?

The muffler internals are totally different between a dual in / out and a single in /out.
If you want true duals, your can either run twin mufflers with a crossover or get a new dual in / out muffler.

true dual and dual mufflers is the way to go... IMO not because I have that... but if you want cheap remove muffler and have shop install a Y pipe and instant dual exit... plus is sounds good too
