Radiator fittings for trans cooler

I'm working on a 2006 Expedition replacing the trans cooler lines. The fittings currently in place are so rotted out that the quick disconnect tool can not be made to work. Same story with the trans cooler.

I called Ford and they only come with the radiator, no exceptions.

Anybody know if you can purchase them separately? If so how about part numbers? Thanks

Try Ford part# YL3Z 7D273 AA, I think Dorman might also have some aftermarket

Replaced my lines last year and I had the same issue with the rad and cooler connectors.
Ford dealer had all the parts oem. The sad part is I paid almost as much for the two
connectors as for the cooler lines. I recommend that you buy the two line package as
you also get the brackets. You don't have worry about saving the old ones.

Have you looked into aftermarket? This is FAR different from an expy, but i have an insanely potent 97 awd turbo eclipse that now has an auto. I simply used some conversion pieces to get it to 6-AN fittings(google AN fittings), some braided nylon line, a relay for a small fan(probably won't need a fan) and a 11X10X1.5 tranny cooler. It makes a massive difference.

Then, in theory, you should be able to forget about the built in tranny cooler and just plug it. Run your lines, assembly your -AN fittings, build a small bracket for the cooler..........better than OEM and can look very good and hidden nicely. Just a thought.

Then again, the cost could be near $150 for the parts i listed. The OEM radiator may be cheaper? I know nothing of the price and honestly hadn't checked to see that it had an integrated tranny oil cooler built in to the radiator. Did not know that.
