radio display went out

The radio still works, but the display is completely out Is there a way to fix this? 2011 EL with 187000 miles. This is the first problem with this vehicle.

For some reason that issue is common on model year 2011 vehicles. Ford must have had some supplier issue that year. Pretty sure only fix is to replace.

I had an aftermarket head unit in an Explorer that had everything, and I mean everything. Touchscreen, BT, Wi-Fi, Video in, video out, USB, Nav, 300w amplifier, played every kind of media made, etc....

Then about 2 years after installing it, the screen went out. It was still active and responded to touch, just no display. Drats.
