No, I've got the entire package. All the way back. I've got pictures on here of the full setup. the tcase fit fine, I did drill an extra hole just to make sure it's extra secure but that was it. On page 3-5 of this you'll see several of us do.
Thanks. They didn't think that the transfer case skid would fit with the independent rear suspension. You didn't have any issues

I just had installed the full F150 skid plates. I used the 2015-'23 skids. Per installer, it just took a couple of new holes to be drilled. Although this vehicle will have limited off-road excursions I feel MUCH better knowing there is solid protection if needed. Now to decide to keep or remove the black airdam? I know it is a personal decision.

Anyone on the Dallas area, North Texas Truck Accessories in Lewisville, TX is who did the install. Mike and his team do a great job. I have zero hesitation in recommeding them.

The quality of the RCI plates is amazing. I've seen some of their other work for things like the Tacoma platforms and they are great. Sure wish I had a rack to do the install when I did it over 3 years ago, I was on ramp in the garage! and same experience, I did some extra holes and speed nuts, just for a little added strength. Curious why you didn't add the cat plates? I bought those as soon as they became available, just to protect these expensive cats from theft.

Did you use the RCI Cat protector? If so, F150 '15+ version?

I just ordered a set along with cat-guards for my '24 Max. Excited and anxious to see how they fit up since it doesn't seem there have been any folks on here with the current model year with them.

For anyone keeping track, the engine skid plates *do not* bolt right up onto the 2024 Expedition Max. The holes are further inward at the mounting spot for where the front-and-back engine skid plates meet so either you'll have to hog-out the frame, or drill new holes into the RCI plates for fitment.

I didn't venture further back with the remainder of the set after I ran into this - that being said the front of the plate did mount up just fine.

Honestly, it seems really interesting to me, the degree of variation in the factory holes on the crossmember and other items. It almost seems like along the way they change those characteristics, without much regard for the previous setup. It's like hey, we came out with the timberline so lets change the layout of the holes on the crossmember to make sure the timberline skid plates fit, but who cares about the previous holes.

I don't really expect any aftermarket supplier to keep up with that kind of stuff. I know some of the guys at RCI, they were able to keep with a single plate cutout for almost the entire 2nd gen tundra (covering 7 years). A couple minor differences with say the trd pro package, but very minor.

Any updtes since? I am looking for a front engine skid plate for my 2024 Exped. Max as well.

It seems weird that the 24's would be different. Every other thing that fit say a 2020 has fit. Just seems weird that these 2 bolt holes would be different.

what's also a little more weird, is that after my tranny replacement, the amount of clearance between the plates and the tranny was cut in half. slightly different shape, and even the pan looks slightly different. I had to add some 1/4" butyl spacers for the plate that covers the tranny just to be sure they wouldn't come in contact.

There have been changes in the 10R80. That I would expect. They have been making constant generational improvements to it. That would not change mounting holes, because then replacements would be tough.

Agreed, but it was interesting to see the shape/size of it change enough to reduce clearance on the skid plates.

Yeah, I wish I could find a list of the changes...some engineer has them somewhere.

Anyone get a RCI gas tank plate to work? Anyone install any kind of bash plate on the rear differential (would RCI work?)?

didn't do the fuel tank skid, I finished at the tcase. No idea if would work or not, my guess is no, I believe the F150 tank is quite a bit different (and a lot larger given the last time I filled up a loaner F150).
