Rear Control Panel

Has anyone removed the rear control panel surround in the center console that sits on the floor in the 03+ expeditions where you would control the heat and music control.

I noticed that there are 4 screws and nuts. I would like to remove them and paint them to match the outside of my truck. I have not got the chance to try to remove it but within the next couple of weeks I would like to.

Recently painted the plastic around the door handle on all 4 doors on the inside of the truck to match with the exterior and hoping to do the same with the rear control surround.

You probably have to remove the inside of the console to get to the panel.
