I have an 07 EB EL. I switched to all led's in the interior about a month ago. Tonite while driving it I noticed the rear cargo light was lit up very dim. No other lights were on or doing what the cargo light was doing. I switched the cargo light off with the switch on it and it went off completely but all the other lights inside lit up very dim. Switch it back on and the others go off and the cargo light goes back to dim. All the lights light up normally when a door is opened. I have no idea where to start with this. Could the led's be causing this

In order for the leds to light they need a power source. They are still getting power from somewhere.

Yes. I have a similar experience with my volvo. Switched to interior lights to led's and they still lightly illuminate when not on. The reason for this is the LEDs still store some power. In order to have them completely off, your going to have to wire a resister to them. I got used to mine as it's a nice glow inside, but my cargo light is a little annoying when looking in the rear view at night.

I out leds in my old SVT Focus. The dome light always had a faint glow unless I switched it off. I always left the switch on door except long night trips. It could sit for weeks and still have no noticeable drop in starting power.
