Hello everyone,
I have a question hopefully someone can answer. I wanted to reprogram the factory remote start in my 2013 expedition limited so it doesn’t shut off when I open the door. I have followed several threads and watched videos and saw that several model years before 2013 have a service button tucked up under the drivers side dash. I have been all over my truck and can’t locate it. I found what looks like the brain or whatever for the remote start just not the service button. I wasn’t sure if maybe they discontinued it on 2013 models and later. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks in advance!

If it's the same remote start that Ford sells from Code Alarm, the programming button is at the end of pigtail coming from the module. Some installers drill a hole in the dash and mount it, usually low, sometimes near the adjustable pedal switch. Some installers tie-wrap it to the harness and you have to look for it. Other installers snip the wires off at the box after they program it so you have to go back to them.
