What's the biggest tire I can put on my 97 4x4 expedition without lifting it? I have the stock 17's and was thinking of getting 18's. What's the tire size for the 17's and 18's?

anything 32" and smaller. you could put 33s but with slight rubbing. metric sizing is weird. so i dont know.

You could probably run 275 70 17 (32.2 in) or 265 70 17 for sure. Will you be using it for off road use at all? 285s will fit, but will rub when bottomed out.
