Just bought my first expedition. 01 eddie bauer for 1200 bucks with bad motor. it has the romeo but i already have a windsor to put in it. my question is will the cast intake off the romeo fit on the windor? windsor has plastic intake but its not complete so i cant use it.. Any help would be great

Most trucks and expeditions came with windsor motors. Most cars came with the romeo motors. As long as both motors are PI-headed motors and same displacement it should work. 5.4 and 4.6 use different intakes. PI headed and non-PI head use different intakes.

I would suspect it would because the main difference between the windsor and romeo heads is the cam journals and valve cover bolt pattern. The rest of the casting is said to be identical.

Cannot confirm though.. :(

I believe the main benefit of the composite is weight savings and far less heat transfer to the intake air charge. Not sure of any difference in runner size or length if any.
