Hi folks, I just got a 2008 expedition. I think it's the SVT as it was from a fire department (it has a column shifter). That being said I want to add running boards to it, and I've looked at a couple websites and they want to know if it is an EL edition. I dont believe they make the SVT in EL, but can anybody tell me how to be sure? Also if anyone can recommend good running boards that are not slippery when they get wet, I'd appreciate your input also. Thanks for reading!

The factory fixed running boards are slippery when wet, downright dangerous in snow and ice, and too narrow if you have big feet. You might want to look at some aftermarket options.
