So here is my problem. I am trying to change out the drivers side front wheel bearing on my fiancee's 01 Expedition. I have changed 3 of them on her 02 Expedition. I am at a loss of how to get the bearing or even the rotor for that matter off the truck. The bearing is so rusted on that I can throw the tire on and it will support the weight of the truck ( the jack is still under the control arm) with out being bolted in. I have tried what seems like gallons of penetration oil, heat and a 10lb sledge hammer. I do have a new brake rotor so i am not that concerned about damaging the rotor getting it off. If anyone has some tips or ideas how I can get the bearing off the truck that would be great.

Might not be worth all the effort if it's badly rusted. Consider getting a replacement axle spindle assembly at your local pull-a-part.

since I have an other truck, I have decided that I am going to take the whole knuckle from the other truck.
