I have a small shift flare between 1-2 and 2-3. It only happens when the truck is cold. Like the first start of the day or going home after work. It may have been there since I bought the truck, but I just noticed it since changing the muffler since I can actually hear it. I'm leaning towards low fluid, but you know it goes on these models I need to actually plan to check it. The truck is coming up on 80k. I'm mostly wondering if this is a known issue before my warranty runs out.

Thanks Tom. I didn't see anything about the shift flare. Guess I better make an appointment to take it in.

I finally got a chance to take it in and naturally it shifted fine. They did find a leak at the tailshaft housing. My hope is that the leak caused a low fluid level. Guess we'll see when I get it back.
