So I bought my expy used and with almost hundred thousand miles, every thing works
(not to mention the grind I now hear on slow speeds witch thanks to this forum I will soon enough be calling the dealership)
The driverside front speaker seems to have a short in it. When I brake real hard the hole stereo wigs out I even turn it off and still sounds of bare wires touching metal comes through the speakers and rite down my spine. AAHHH I started tearing the door apart to investigate and dammit I couldn't get the ------g thing off. As far as I got it I could see a lot of wires. looked like four or more wires were coming out of the back of the speaker box Before I lost my mind I got it back on enough to close the door. Is there somewhere elses it could be shorting out or should I say the hell with it and get a new deck. I think the deck works. The short is the problem? I don't know
I will check it out when I get home tommaro. Any thought would help. Thanks
