Hey, all!

So I have had a set of Ford factory 2003 FX4 skid plates sitting around for years.

Due to a recent move, and a down size in garage space, it was time to get the giant box out of the way! (Make way for 2 SVT Focus'!)

Anywho, I dug the skids and all of the hardware out and finally got them installed. Talk about heavy duty!

Hoping to get them out soon and maybe even a little scratched up; heading up to see the golden aspen trees this fall up in the Rockys.

Cheers!

Ford has these available for each generation Expedition. There are also plastic plates for the fuel tanks. All are standard on the police SSV trucks.

That undercarriage is spotless for a 2003. Guess you don't get rust out there.

Thanks! It was originally a Calinfornia vehicle. Has been in Colorado under my ownership for the last 4 years now. The paint on the roof is shot and the hood is starting to go, but she is definitely rust free! It is so huge with the lift and the 35" mud terrains, you never see the roof anyway, lol.

At the time of purchase, around 3 to 4 years ago, the fuel tank skid was discontinued and unavailable.
Checking now, the transfer case skid is now also discontinued and unavailable.
As far as I can tell, the front most plate is still available at this time.

Part #'s are as follows:

Front Skid Plate - 2L1Z-5D032-AA
Transfer Case Skid Plate - 2L1Z-7E063-AA
Fuel Tank Skid Plate - 2L1Z-9A147-AA
Fuel Tank Straps (with skid mounts) - 2L1Z-9054-CA / 2L1Z-9054-DA

Cheers!

One of the great things about having an FX4 is the skid plates. Most don't know they ever made it.IMG_0315.jpg
