It was at Maritime Plaza, just east of the Navy Yard. And it was an obvious commuter battlewagon....something a like a 1983 Chevy Luv truck with no shiny spots or undented body panels.I feel for you Bob....I never park in a lot in DC but sometimes you don't get a choice...glad your truck wasn't damaged!

Oh yes you can. That is why I bothered to mention that people think they are secure but that inner Hood pop is just for convenience and little bit of protection like in the old days and people like to mess with people's cars by popping out the rotor button since it was so easy to lift off the distributor cap.Funny post, but you can't pop hoods this way, unless its a 1977 Monte Carlo or 1980 Elcamino.
Looks like it was a 2005-2011 Toyota Tacoma based on the photo. Glad no damage occurred to your truck. It was at Maritime Plaza, just east of the Navy Yard. And it was an obvious commuter battlewagon....something a like a 1983 Chevy Luv truck with no shiny spots or undented body panels.
It was one of those cars you look at and say "I ain't parking near him". Alas, I was there before him.
A $2 tool is all it takes to remove all the valve stem cores, and doesn't cause any permanent damage, but sure makes it hard to drive!

Classic scene. Cops didn't even know what hit them lol. The tulips that are ignorant enough to park the way they do probably would even know why someone did it...Hawk, should have tied a chain around pole to rear differential, like in American graffiti. When he pulled out, betcha he'd never do that one again.

That about sums it up.Classic scene. Cops didn't even know what hit them lol. The tulips that are ignorant enough to park the way they do probably would even know why someone did it...
I like the valve stem removal idea, but personally I'd like to use side cutters when they're ignorant enough to not respect someone else's property to these degrees. I know, I know, "eye for an eye makes the whole world blind"... That's why God gave us Lasik surgery lol Libs can stuff it. Being too PC is what's gotten us into this societal mess.
As you get older you also learn to play the game better. While I would love to kick some people's *****, that makes me the bad guy and then I get in more trouble than them. I do work for insurance companies and take pictures of small damage like that. There's tons of fraud but when something like this occurs you simply make a claim and on the small dollar ones the insurance companies gladly pay just to make it go away.Shit like this really irritates me.
Last year I was sitting in the parking lot at Sam's Club while my wife ran in for a few things. This lady parks next to me, hubby gets out of the passenger side and WHAM - nails my wife's door (really hard) and leaves a significant dent in it. I sat there with my mouth hanging open as he just closes his door and walks away. Now her car was totaled a couple years ago, so another dent doesn't really matter. What pissed me off though is that he had zero concern that he did it even with me sitting in the driver's seat with the window down. Twenty years ago I would have gotten out and punched him in the face without hesitation, but as you get older you realize it's best to take a breath and think before you lose your shit. So I took a breath, sat there until the Mrs came out, and left him a reminder of what an ******* he is before I left.
Guess he won't be an ignorant ass and take a handicap spot again. Too bad it had to come to that for him to learn.A few days ago we had an amazon delivery driver get shot in a Target parking lot for using a handicapped spot. He's paralyzed now.

Both of their lives (and the lives of their families) are changed forever.. over a damn parking spot.
