Had the amazing team at Extreme Auto Sounds in North Hollywood install a 32" 180W LED bar behind my grill.
The install is super clean and it is BRIGHT.
And I mean bright as in 4-5x my stock high beams + fog.
I'll add more photos tomorrow but here's a preview (w/ grill replaced, the clean switch on the interior and more...).
Highly recommended... these guys rule.
Oh yea, did I mention it's BRIGHT?!?!?!

I don't believe you that it is bright! All I see is a lot of LED's that are off... Post some more pics if you can.

OK, here's a few views of the install.
Whatever light is obstructed by the grill itself is not missed one bit, it's super crazy bright as it is.
Also added a pic of the switch I installed.. again, all about stealth.

- Not sure the brand, however it was ordered from Amazon and was Prime eligible and a fraction the cost of a Rigid.
- Took some comparison night photos with my phone that were pretty useless in terms of understanding the difference.
- The color temp (6000k) is different than 'normal' headlights.
- Despite being a 'spot' pattern LED bar (not flood or combo), it lights up 75' tree tops that are 50' away. Not sure if this is due to light bouncing off the grill because of mounting position, but it's a superb pattern and the light is mounted at 90 degrees.
- The wall I used for testing was ~650 METERS (!) away. Perhaps because the wall was white and 40' high it was not visible without the light but could be seen easily when the LED bar was on.

Would it be possible to wire up a on with high beams/ on/off independently type if setup.

Example flick your high beams on LEDs pop on or have switch so they don't and a second position to turn them on independently of the head lights

Yes that's doable. Just get a three position switch. on - off - on wire the one side to energize the relay when the high beams are on and the other independent with a ignition 12volts so you can run when ever.

I have that set up for my train horn. I tapped in to the normal horn wiring and made it so when the switch is one way when you press the horn you get normal. flip the switch and hit the horn button and you get a train horn.
