I have been very busy this week and didn't have time to come back and check... to me it feels like a throttle response issue or an electrical hiccup... mine does it at the 1200 to 1500 RPM range and between 35 to 45 MPH range as soon as it starts stuttering i give it more gas and it stops... Ive done a lot of tests and maintenance as stated before to try and fix it to no avail... so Ive been putting it off hoping someone might find the fix

By accident I found out what seems to be your issue... Please see the attached youtube video...

If I had the money for a new set of coils and boots to test it out, I would do it right away just for kicks... but right now money is tight and cannot afford it! And if it turns out that the coils wasn't the issue, I would have a lot to explain to my better half!!!
But thanks for posting the info... It may help someone else searching for the same issue

Just wanted to pop in and let everyone know that I'm very thankful for all of you Tips, Thoughts & Ideas.
Sadly I have nothing new to report.

My garage had my truck for 48 hours, drove the truck & it never acted up. As I've said, this is very much so a random thing. Two days after getting the truck back it did the same thing 3 times in a row.
At this point, I'm thinking of doing a fuel system flush & replacing the fuel filter.
If that doesn't work, then I'm thinking maybe, just maybe it's not an engine issue, but rather a transmission issue. (Reason - 1. I never get a check engine light . 2. There are never any codes & 3. The last time it did this it sort of felt like it was coming from the back drive wheels as if the transmission was slipping. Doesn't make much sense to me, but as I've saud... I'm not a Mechanic.)

Anyway, just wanted to put out an update for those of you that we're so kind as to offer help.
Thank you all once again.

After watching the YouTube video with my wife, the sound on the video is Not what we have been hearing nor feeling.
After the last time of my truck doing this, it almost seems like the transmission is slipping. As I've posted here today, the truck is not throwing any codes.

My 06 is doing the exact same thing. I was hoping someone had found the cure. lve cleaned the MAF and plan to change the fuel filter tomorrow since those are the two cheapest places to start.

On my 06 if I was cruising at light throttle around 60mph, then hit the gas, it would hesitate, then misfire, and then run rough. I think it's the transition from a very lean state, to a very not lean state which causes the hiccup. Fuel system cleaner / seafoam pretty much eliminated my stutters, however I had already done all the plugs and COP's, which are mad expensive for motorcraft. Can't hurt to try it for 10-15 bucks.
