Any pics of where to apply grease?
My 2023 Expedition rattle where moving sunroof meet fixed glass.
Here’s the TSB for it. The Krytox grease is pricey but it works and plays nice with the seals. Also if you have the back glass rattle try applying grease to the latch for the glass. On our 23 there was absolutely no grease on any latches (that’s union labor for you…. ours was built when they were having their ******* match with Ford and it shows).

Try exactly there, where moving glass roof meets fixed glass, I think the noise emanates from there. I tamed mine applying three 3" long 1-1/2" thick strips of window sealing foam, one in the center and the other two in the edges under the moving glass, to help the black strip that comes from the factory, the whole rattle is caused by their poor design, the foam strip is too thin and tends to lean forward and ceases to do the job of stabilizing the moving glass, hence it moves and rattles. I recomend you try to solve this on your own. My dealer received my car again, and when it came back, there were several problems that a person with no knowledge or training caused, I'll share photos and a short video. They used a flat screwdriver to remove the handle covers, not the tool, so the damaged both the covers and the handles, the driver side seatbelt height regulator doesn't work anymore, the roof handle of the passemger side second row came back crooked, the tarp or canvas roof that moves back so you can use the vista roof is loose in the right side so it doesn't go back evenly, it is been pulled only from the left side, this piece of rubber that looks like an acordeon just fell off, they damaged the favric on the roof trim. Ford just doesn't train people right to solve the issues that come out of their factories, so, take my advice, try to solve this yourself, they'll turn a bad dream into a full blown nightmare

That's terrible. Hopefully the dealer is taking care of this damage for you.

Any photos of the foam you inserted? What a fiasco, ours just started knocking at 25k.

Best thing you can do is call Ford corporate and ask to speak to a customer service manager or liaison. Explain everything to them, and hopefully they will help you. When I take my Ex in for service, I photographed all the interior and exterior. It's saved me 2 times. Once there was a scratch on the driver's door. They claimed it was there, so I showed the service manager my dated pics, and they repaired it.

With mine the chattering is fine dust getting into the gasket between the glass and other surfaces causing a chattering noise. Seems to happen certain times a yr when we get a fine dust blowing around. I have to wipe the edges down a few times then it stops for a while
