I am posting the info I received from DV8 performance regarding a sway bar kit...I know i have them front and rear already and the front one is 33mm in diameter because I had to replace broken pins and one mount while I was on vacation..for has one more that is bigger at 36mm which I was surprised I didnt have the biggest one..I have to measure the rear but its heft as well not a real thin one... ebay # 280654896889

Dear bakeredition,

Thank you for contacting us. Typically the advantages of aftermarket sway bars are seen by the increase in bar diameter over the oem bars and the poly bushings used in the kit. Most trucks and SUV's typically only have a smallish front bar and no rear bar. In your case you might not see much of a advantage in this upgrade. What i would recommend would be to first measure the diameter of both of your bars and compare it to the aftermarket bars you are looking to purchase. These particular Belltech bars measure 1 3/8" in the front and 1 1/4" in the rear. if your bars are smaller than these you will see a performance gain. If they are as big or bigger i would probably not recommend upgrading the bars.

my 2nd gen bars...front/back...were both smaller than the eibach kit i purchased...so i see gains and can only imagine that all 2nd gens would be the same and possibly 3rd gens...idk about 1st gens...but can only imagine you will benefit from them...

up to you...so whats your next move?
