3.0 is for 2018 and below (some 2019's)
3.3 and above is for 2019 and above (but not all)
If you are at 3.0, right now that is as far as it's going, unless Ford changes how that is setup...
If you are at 3.2 or 3.3, you will get newer updates as they come out
3.0 does not have enough storage, and is not setup for more than what it has (again unless Ford decides to change that)
3.2 and above has more room as well as better storage layout.
That is a simple way to put it... there are alternatives out there, but not for the novice. 8)
