Dear all

In Europe we got diffrent law regarding the lights
I have a question
is it possible from ForScan to disable the turn signal in tails lamps? (both sides only tails lamps)

If yes then in which modul i should change it??

I need to have on this bulb only normal and brake light
And i need to put wire from mirror signal to white bulbs to get signal ligh in second part of the lamp

bestregards

so basicly idea is that
if there is a possibility to disable only the back (tail) turn signal (L + R) then in the main part of assemble i got normal red light + stop light
from the mirror i will put new connection wire and take signal for turn light and i will put a new light socket (3 wires for dual bulb) in 2 assemble for turn + reverse

Buy an Audi or BMW. I don't think they come with turn signals.

Figured out what you want to do. :) Fitting EU-mandated amber rear turn signals to US-spec cars has gotta have a market in the EU -- not many EU guys here. "Ford Europe" if such a corporate division exists, may have information and parts. May not be an easy DIY project and I suspect there are aftermarket lighting shops where you live that have done similar conversions.

You're not the only guy that's done this so search locally for "Light Conversion Specialists" or try these guys: https://przerobkalampusa.pl/en/about-me/ Probably more but I'm an English-only language guy. :)

Good luck.

Yes, I know what he's asking. ECE lights have much different rule than USA spec. Namely, each function has to be its own separate piece. Turn signal is separate from brake (i.e. brake light cannot share running light function like ours do). It's supposed to be so that there is no ambiguity on light functions.

Sounds like this is going to be a hard find since I don't believe Expeditions were made for export markets?

te main problem with FORD is that although US FOrd and EU Ford is owned by same company then if You import the car from US - EU diler do not accpet US gurantee and so on
in UE Ford i can no do nothing

Expedition is not being sold on EU market at all, so diler will hot have no spec for thoe cars or componets for it

All thing i need i import from US (via eBay/ Amazon/ other sources)

Currently i got to the point that in one assamble i putted a led light (white + amber) a took signal from mirror - i have revers and turns signal
in 2 assemeble i cutted the wire which was responsible for stop + turn - so i have red light

From 3 brake stop light i get wire and putted to red assemble - effect - on one side i got brake light on second no
and i do not know why

But BIGGGGG thanks for helping i will try to solve this thing by my own
companies that are changing the light wants a lot of money for that and to not guarentee that it works
and i imported EXP becouse i do not want BMW or AUDI

Dear all finally finish the topic

So for the future

I got lights according to EU law
So normal light red
Stop light red
Turn light amber
Revers light white
Fog ligh red

In the orginal assenbly
in upper socket i got revers + turn
in lower assembly i got drive and stop light

FOG rear light is seperate lamp under the bumper

How to do it
upper socket
Revers stays as it was
I bought a bulb socket with 3 wires
From mirrors i took signal for turns

Lower socket
Driver sign stayes as it was
I cut of the turn cable
From 3 stop light from the hood i took the stop light
But i needed to change bulbs to led bulb due to lower Amper voltage (otherwise it was not able to work)

BestRegards

Glad to hear that has worked out for you. I'd be interested in seeing pictures of how and what you have done to get this working. I was also looking at this recently and thinking another way to get individual signals would be to tap into the 7-pin trailer harness.

For the turn signals, sounds like you tapped into the mirrors and ran the signal wire from the front door back to the tail?

Clever to take the signal from the CHL to have a dedicated stop light.

i some free moment i will add also picures

so for the trailer you can take from from lamps or mirror the signal for separate turns
I took it from mirrors not to put extra wiring in the engine chamber

You dont need to get to doors
I took it from wiring just where it goes from car to doors (easy way to plug in)

Regarding stop light in old cars it was easier becouse the instalation did not check the volatage on the instalation, new cars do it - this is the reason i putted led bulbs (those are 1 A) instead od normal one (those are 2 A)

I have 2014 Lincoln Navigator and also need to convert amber turn signal taillights to EU standards. Navigator and Expedition have same red stop/turn signals in the same bulb and needs to be changed to red stop and amber turn signals flash.

Now rear fog light and reverse light are separated on the bumper. Amber turn signal light is in reverse lamp place and now turn signals flash in stop/turn (red lights) and amber lights simultaneously. Amber lights connected to mirror turn signal.

Is it possible to completely disable rear turn signals on stop/turn red lamps with FORScan AS-BUILT code change in GEM/SJB module so only rear stop light work without turn signals?
