Theft light blinking-no power to anything

I have a 99 expy 4.6 2wd. Had some transmission work done now it is stuck at the shop and wont start. Turn the key and the gauges jumped back and forth a few times but got nothing. There is a relay clicking in the fuse panel when I take out the key. Theft light is blinking. I only have 1 key. Kept trying to start it and eventually the gauges stopped jumping and I got nothing at all. Battery is good. Solenoid is good. Any Ideas? Thanks for any help you might give.

try disconnecting battery for 10-15 minutes and then reconnect and restart or get a scanner check codes, reset codes and try restart

Did they lose the chip that is in the key? The chip is in the top of the key.
