hello i asked this in a different thread but have yet to get a response maybe i was in the wrong area but i was thinking of taking my TB apart and wanted to ask peeps with past experiences if they have encountered excessive carbon or other nasty stuff that might mess up the idle a bit on xp's with more then 100000 miles? especially like in the egr ports?

I'm pretty sure 03 still has IAC which would be a good start on a smoother idle. I cleaned mine out when I changed my plugs. def had some carbon build up. I just used throttle body cleaner, and while your at it might as well clean the MAF sensor

UPDATE:
i took out the throttle body and couldn't find any clogged egr ports i was hoping to find them so i could blame that as the problem with the shaking of the truck but i guess 03's don't have the egr ports on the throttle body like other models... still cleaned it out and replaced the iac valve since i was already there .. replaced everything and there was an improvement but the shaking is still there you have to really pay attention to feel it.. took it to a mechanic around the corner cause i had asked for a tool i didn't have and he said that the motor sounds fine and that the rpm isn't moving which would indicate it's running smooth. he said that the problem might be in the supports of the engine the ones that holster it down to the chassis that they could be worn out and might have a little wiggle to them anyways i'm done trying to figure it out..
