Tilt Steering Not Locking Tight Help Please

Has anyone had a problem with the tilt steering lock not locking tight? When I back up I put a little weight on the steering wheel and it falls down, when I get in my Ex I notice I can't see the Speedo so I know it drops if I don't drive it ford a couple of days.
Has anyone fixed the issue and what was involved?

Nobody has had an issue with their tilt steering not locking tight or had to fix anything related to the tilt lock. Even comments about removing the trim around the steering column might help. Thanks

Sorry I can't help you. I would say pull the cover to the column and look at the spring and make sure that it is engaging in the lock.
