Time to rebuild the 5.4

The mechanic where I work is rebuilding my 5.4 all the trucks here at the mill are Fords with the 5.4's so he's pretty good with them, any suggestions while she's apart?

Quality parts, tight clearances, proper breakin and maintenance from then on.

Yes you could have the engine "blueprinted". Thats what race fanatics call an engine reset to factory clearances. And have the intake ports larger and polished.

I'm sure there would be a real benefit from blueprinting the engine at his location WTFU in the Yukon!
