I have a 2002 Expedition, EB edition. has the 265/70/17 rims on it.

I have been looking at all the threads, and i wanna go with...
LT285/70R17 Nitto Trail Grapplers (the aggresive looking ones)

they appear to be 33 inch tires.

Can i get away with just the Daystar comfortride Lift kit?
It's a 2" leveling kit. 2" rear spacers, and 2" torque fronts.
Daystar® - ComfortRide™ Lift Kit

Or will i need that kit, plus a 3" performance accessories body kit with it? I'm afraid putting both on, will make the 33's small in looks.

soulsedge, like was mentioned, if you are going with the 285's you mentioned, you will be good. You might have to do a little bit of trimming of the front valance, but anyone with oversized tires on an expy has done that mod. Please keep in mind that without any lift, that is about as big as you can go.

You start adding a lift, you can easily fit up to 37" tires. I am running a 4" suspension lift and 37x12.5" tires. With that being said, do not plan on fitting the tires on without some modification. I had to cut the bumper some, take a 3 pound hammer to the wheel wells, and cut a tab off of the lower a-arm. I am contemplating doing the step up to 40's on the 4" suspension lift and then adding a 3" body lift. But, if I do that, then I am going to be really "modifying the body". For those that know me, be very, very afraid. LMAO.

Sorry to get off topic but why would you do all that modding if your selling her?

sgtowing, if for some reason I do keep Nukie, I would make it a trail rig and pretty much remove it from the road. Who knows. Things can change at a moments notice. Parts of me wants to keep Nukie, but then, I also know I am not doing the truck any good with how I am using it now. So, it is a mixed bag right now.
