Yo could start by looking here: https://tiresize.com/calculator/

put in your stock tire dimensions, then the dimensions you think you wanna use, and try to visualize the differences....(don't forget the look at the changes in speedometer readings too)

Then you can go to a tire shop & talk about your potential options. Some of your choices may work without a lift or other modifications, while others may require them. It really depends on how much time & money you wanna put into making the changes work together :D

But AFAIK, most older STOCK Expy's can use & come from the factory with either 8, 8.5, or 9" wide tires with no rubbing occurring, but you really should check if your choice of larger, front tires for "full turn" rubbing before diving into the project too far & wasting a bunch of money for nothing.

My '011 stock size is 275/55/20 x 8.5", but I have been told by a couple of tire shops that it could easily handle 285/75/22's x 10" without any problems or mods...However, I plan to do go the other way, and get some 285/65/18 x 9" parts in the spring when my current tires should be ready for replacement....

Good luck & please post back with the results of whatever you decide to do :)

Looks nice, congrats !

Does CA have any restrictions on how far outside of the standard fenders your tires can be without requiring additional flares/flaps ?

Just asking because I know some states are kinda picky about it, others don't seem to care much :)

Technically they may need to be there but no one's using them unless its obviously like 4 5 inches but 1 or 2 inches is not usually a problem
