Tires.....help!!

okay so I am running p265/70/r17's (roughly 31.6) and I hate them, they look way too small:/ Im thinking about getting some tires here with in the next month on about 1000 dollar budget. I wanted to try and fine some 315/70/r17's (roughly 34.4) and just wanted to get some more advice as to whether or not they would fit. I dont have my bumper skirt on(the plastic below the chrome bumper) and I dont mind trimming a bit. I have a TT and 1" rear coil spacers but they gave me more of a 2" lift. Also, would I have to re-gear? I don't tow a lot and when I do its a light trailer. Any input would be much appreciated.

well stock you can fit a 33" tire with no problems... so 34.5" tires would be tight but you could probably fit them with some trimming... have seen people cram 35s on stock rims with only TT... but for tires it depends on what you want... I would love to get general grabber AT2s but they dont make 37s... basically they are a cheap BFG AT... and you wouldn't need gears for those tires... I have stock 3.73s with 37s... for now and tow my boat... but soon gonna go with 4.88s

Okay awesome, Basically right now im 2" higher than stock. I think ill go with a 315/70/r17 and trim what I need to. I like the grabbers too so ill check into those thanks for your help!

also check into the MTs here if you want something more aggressive... another tire I would love but need bigger than a 315/75...

those look great! But I couldnt find a 315 on a 17 inch rim

they have a 35x12.5r17... might be able to cram that in there... or get a body lift

im going to get 315 75 16, pretty much the same as 315 70 17. you can do it with just the spacer and tt. would rub if you ever jump it. haha

or get the lift I posted in ebay find....lol then 35s will fit even jumping....

YEAH! saw those on almost every truck out in plaster this weekend. those or bfg bajas. everyone in our camp was running bfgs. haha me, my buddy, 2 other guys and this guy with a bad as 150 had the KRT race tires on. so sick!
