In fact you might even want to try this site

They are retreads but I have read some pretty positive stuff about them. The price is amazing!

I actually run the 285/70/17 guard dog from treadwright on my 2004 expedition.

This is the second set of tires I have bought from them and have been very happy so far. The first set are on my K5 that I sold last month and they were the A/T version.

Keep in mind if you go with the Mud Terrain they will hum and get slightly noisy. I pretty much have the same expedition as you except mine is the black eddie bauer edition.

FYI I don't believe you can go smaller than a 17" wheel because of the brakes.
