I hope someone can help me, I'm going crazy :emotions122:
I have a 2000 Expy and it has the light duty trailer option (the 4 pin flat). I'm trying to convert it to 7 pin with a brake controller. It has a connector under the dash for the brake controller and the harness the 4 pin plugs into has 7 wires (from the truck). I got the hd tow pkg harness p/n YL3Z-13A576-GB, but it has 2 connectors to plug into the truck, the 4 pin only had one. Does anyone know where the other plug goes into? Thanks in advance!

That's the connector that's on mine as well, but there is another one on the new tow harness from ford. It looks like a "T" harness. It's a round connector if that rings a bell. Thanks for your help!

When I added the RV plug to my '99, I just cut all that factory crap off and wired the plug.
Yeah, I tried to do it the priddy way with the factory plugs and gave up. Sometimes your "inner redneck" must prevail!!!!

My 2000 expy with no tow package has the same connector KWT2000 had in his picture. Could it be a plug that is universal to other fords with a different type of connection? Hard to say without a pic......just a random thought I had. I could be way off base with that though.

I talked to someone at a dealer and he came up w/a different part number. I'm waiting on that to come in today. I'll let everyone know if it is the right one. Thanks everyone!
