Hello, I am really new here. We own a 2017 Expedition 4x4 XLT. We are wanting to confirm towing capacity. I am getting mixed signals from Ford and other sites. We are trying to figure out how much travel trailer we can pull. We do not have the HD tow package. I have seen the pdf. on the Ford Expedition website, and I am not certain of it, as it can be a little unclear. Any insight is helpful.

Without HD towing I believe you're limited to 6600lb trailer weight, but probably more importantly for a travel trailer would be the frontal area limit of 36 sq ft.
