TPS Question

I was reading on the F-150 forums that a TPS with a "dead spot" can cause pulsating and vibration at 35 mph. Can anyone confirm this?

Well I'd like confirm that there is a dead spot in the TPS I pulled today which causes the pulsating or vibration at 32-35 mph. If anyone is having the same issues I'd advise them to pull the TPS and replace it. For my situation, I pretty much did everything you can do to make the pulsating go away without much success. So after an hour and a few tools that my truck ate up in the engine, there is no more pulsating at 35mph. My truck is a 97 EB with the 5.4L with 168K miles.
