tranny problems help!

ok here are the couple of problems i'm having:

1. sometimes the truck don't want to start in park so i shift it in nuetral to start it. Could that be the neutral safety switch?

2. sometimes it rolls back when its in park like right after i turn it off. but it rolls back more than it should. im wondering if its the filter being clogged or not. like im going to have the transmission fluid and filter changed tomorrow but i want to here what some people here may advise?

I know I'm late with this reply. but if you havent solved your problem yet. It does sound like a Trans Range sensor or "neutral saftey switch" problem. On this truck it is refered to as the TR sensor. It could be going bad or it could just need a little adjusting. Good luck with it. Let us know if you find the fix.
