Has anyone experienced noisy BOV when accelerating?

It seems like every time I get in the throttle I’m actuating the BOV.
And it is pretty loud. I’ll record it and post later today.

I know I’m not going crazy, but this CANNOT be normal, and I surely would have noticed it before if it had been doing it since I brought the truck home.

It is a continuous loud air release noise the whole time you have the throttle down.

Maybe a silly question but are you sure it isn’t just the sound of all that air coming out the exhaust? Mine does the same thing. A rushing air sound under acceleration, and it accelerates quite nicely. I never hear the blowoff actually blow off when you release like in my SD Powerstroke.
How’s the power feel? Does it surge? What’s the boost pressure say on the dash?

I start hearing it at about 2/3 full scale on boost gauge at seemingly modest throttle input and acceleration. It’s not as loud—almost like BOV is just starting to come off it’s closed seat.
Continuing to step into the throttle will push the boost gauge to 100% pegged, accompanied by the (BOV?) sound of rushing air getting very loud.
The acceleration at that point is okay?
No surging.
The loud air release noise continues until you let off the throttle.

Mine has air hissing sound on 4A that disappears on 2wd. But it is not as loud as what you are describing.
