Moe, not to ask a silly question, but do you like to adjust your steering column up and down a lot (like raising it to get in/out of the truck and then lowering it when you go to drive to get it to a comfortable position)? if so, your problem lies in the steering column. The wires there are known for getting damaged and they will short out and cause all sorts of hell with the truck. If that is not the case, then I would recommend replacing the turn signal stalk. This is known as a high failure item and depending on how it fails, it can cause the fuse to blow (normally it just takes out the turn signals, head lights or one of the other multiple things it controls).
