Kicking my self for expecting a SEMI quality product and not getting it..

So the Duralast multifunction turn switch FAILED ( color me surprised )…
I replaced all TS bulbs and 2 sockets to give it it's "BEST" opportunity to last.

22 days and this morning when I went to make a left turn I got a weird BBBBBBBBBZZZZZZZZZZZZTTTTTTTT ( no dash indicators ) … BUT if you hold the switch up JUST before it latches.. the signals work same on the other side.
I EXPLAINED THIS to the HIGH SHOOL GENIUS on the phone.. and I got .. Oh it's your vehicle.. it's NEVER the switch.. ( yeah right )…

( Not that I'm an electrical engineer or anything ) …..

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.. I paid CHEEEEEP and got ***** PLUS attitude.

So tomorrow I will get a "LIFETIME WARRANTY" replacement.. to get me over the hump till I can get a FORD OEM switch...

I can't stand pompous ignorant retarded part slingers at these retail stores. Some are cool while so e are just pure waste of space.

Give them a piece of your mind while you're there and maybe the bird on the way out the door.

Well No, no they aren't according to the " Duralast " comparison I have 3 in there to date.
A 1999 Vesrion ( we will call that V-2 Auto zone # SW1976 ) another 99 V-2 that had the wipers stuck on with the squirter ( verified same part # ) and now the 1998 V-1. All functions worked in my 1998 ( with the V-1 and V-2 ) except when the turn signals STOPPED working.. when I would signal I would get that sound you get when you play the game OPERATION…. BZZZZZZZZZZZZZTTTTTTTT. I have the Auto zone SW1086 in now ( V-1 ) and I'm HOPING the internal contacts are beefier. When I took my original apart for no right rear break light.. the contacts were VERY arced & pitted… As an OH BY THE WAY I changed out ALL my signal bulbs before the " CURRENT" switch went in.. and everything is working fine… so far.. I have an OE one on the way as well.
