Hello, I have a 2019 ford expedition limited max and my turn signals won’t work in the headlights when I turn them on but they will work in the taillights, I replaced the headlight turn signal bulb and it still won’t work so I’m not sure what it is, I also can’t find the turn signal relay anywhere, and I don’t know what the relay is labeled as either does anyone know what this is caused

The flashing process does not involve a flasher really any longer - it is controlled by the BCM (body control module).

Did you use an OEM bulb? Have you substituted any LED bulbs in place of an incandescent bulb?

Hello, thank you for replying, I didn’t change any bulbs, this car did get hit in the front end but it was very light we checked the wiring and everything is fine with the wiring! I meant to say I didn’t end up changing any bulbs earlier, the turn signal bulb does light up, it just won’t work when I turn my turn signals on for some reason!

I would suspect a wiring or socket issue. Perhaps switch bulbs from the left to right side and see if that has any effect? A light crash could still damage the bulb filament(s). Wires can be pinched and damage in the metal core, but the plastic coating can remain intact. Perhaps buy new OEM (quality) bulbs and try replacing them?

I had a similar issue with one of my rear bulbs - no accident and a third generation. It turned out the socket was defective and could be changed easily with a new Ford service socket without modifying or cutting into the wiring.

You may want to remove the front turn signal bulbs and look closely at the inside of the socket. Any corrosion or damage (such as a twisted piece of metal)? Ford MAY have front service sockets without having to replace the harness.

Thank you, we took the bulbs in to get them tested and they said they worked perfectly fine and nothing was wrong with them! So I’m not quite sure what it could be I was trying to figure out so I didn’t have to take it into ford!!

I had a similar turn light problem and it was a loose connection. In the trunk on the left side panel is a hatch. In there a bunch of wires and connectors. And a loose screw! Specialist garages all gave up but my local guy figured it out in 2 mins and no charge! Good luck with yours.

One day I was driving and went to use my turn signal and it did not work. Then I noticed the other did not either. Then I noticed that none of the lights were working. It was the BCM (body control module).
