Hello!.. Just a couple of things that happened this morning:

Question #1:

I turned it on this morning without cranking the engine but the mileage didn't showed, then after the crank it didn't started. I repeated the same thing for about five times until the green mileage numbers showed up; it was then when the engine started. What could have happened?

Question #2:

Could the key codes be damaged because of a magnet, static electricity from our body or other keys on same keyring?

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah the circuit board inside can get damaged, it would take alot to do so. But what Panda is referring to on the dash board mileage is a ribbon cable that needs to be resoldered, pull the cluster, very easy and follow the step by step instructions, google ford truck dash mileage indicator.

When the key is turned prior to crank the mileage didn't show. So I try two or three times turning the key until the mileage shows up. But if the mileage doesn't show...it won't turn on no matter what. Seems to be able to start the engine, the miles need to show...

Haveyou looked at the battery cables for corrosion or tried to pull the negative batt. lead for 20 minutes to reset everything, computers do tend to get dysfunctional from time to time, its a cheap and easy place to start at.

make sure you put dielectric grease on the terminals too. i did my positive but not the negative yet. no corrosion on that terminal. but when i first put it on it started to smoke. haha but then it went away.
