U0534 DTC Invalid data received from Side obstacle detection control module B Right side 2017 Max LTD

Hi there,
I have the above-noted error and wonder if there is anything else i should be doing to resolve the issue.

I did get a used on off of ebay and can install it but from what i understand you need to program the new unit to the vehicle

how do i use forscan to reprogram the new module once I install it.

And what would be the simplest way to remove the bumper cover there? Thanks
