Upgrade to rear lift gate

After purchasing our 2020 XLT MAX, I was shocked that an automatic lift gate was not standard on all models of this vehicle. Seems odd. Only thing it came with was a key fob trunk pop that only unlocks it. It doesn’t automatically raise under the pressure of the shocks.
Anyone upgrade anything to help this or anyone install aftermarket auto luggage motor from Ford?

I was surprised that our 2019 XLT MAX didn't have a power liftgate either, since we were coming from an Explorer XLT where that was standard :-/

You'd think with an MSRP of $20k more they wouldn't skimp on such things, but it is what it is. I've come to terms with it personally, and after reading about a lot of problems people have had with their power/automatic liftgates I've started to think I may have dodged a bullet.
