USB devices - Not recognized

Hello, i have a new 2020 expy limited and i tried to plug a portable HDD into the usb in the front console for music and it said device not supported! I had a 2015 Tahoe that supported anything i plugged in... if Ford using older USB tech?

It's also sad that Ford didn't include any USB INSIDE the center console like Chevy does...

Ok! So, we're in the year 2020 and I guess Ford audio engineers are still expecting USB devices to be FAT32 like in 1990!! UGH!!! seriously?? What happened to using EXT3 like 99% of carmakers out there? Anyways, i found out why my HDD doesn't work... Thanks.
