Hey everyone,

Our 2004 Expedition seems to be vibrating and noisy at between 65-70MPH. at 75mph is goes away....

I was hoping one of the wheels were just out of balance, so I had all the wheels re-balanced and rotated.

If anything it seems like it made it worse.

Next Step? Suggestions?

Thanks!

It's one of these things:
1. Wheel that is out of balance
2. Bent rim
3.Bent or misaligned driveshaft
4.Bad U-joint.

My guess would be #3 since you already had the wheels balanced (double check for bent rims though)

I have this same problem.. but its 70-75.. very annoyting.. 77 and its gone.. just enough.. to sadly get picked up (yes i have a ticket for 77 in a 75 zone!)

I cant see it being tires or rims if its such a small specific spot. it really is 5 -6 MPH stretch.. 70, nothing.. it slowly ramps at 71 to about 74 max.. then tapers off at about 76... just real crappy spot. Ujoints maybe.. but i have 2 otehr trucks that has been bad on and this is just not like it. Guess i will reaplce um, cheap enough, but not looking forward to it..
