To the best of my knowledge, everything on your mirrors will work except for the power fold feature. I have heard some success stories that had to modify wiring or add on in order to get power folding. but everything else should work.

Very interesting Back in MARCH these were approx. $230.00 for the pair Now they are over $400.00 For the 1st Gens

We pull a travel trailer and I had to resort to the generic, over-the-counter mirror extensions. Not sufficient. Especially when compared to the towing mirrors I used to have on my old F250.
I was googling to help my sister-in-law find towing mirrors for her vehicle when I came across your post. I immediately looked up the version for my Expedition year and ordered them. They just showed up yesterday, I installed them, and they look great!
Thanks again for the post. I would not have known these even existed if it were not for your post.

Glad I could help you guys out. I did a lot of searching first for the same thing and couldn't find much till these mirrors came out this March and I figured I'd try and make some folks lives easier lol. How's the sight with the new mirrors treating you? Me personally, I would have a hard time going back to stock mirrors.

The only issue I've noticed in the short distance of driving is the shaking you were talking about. I know they're tight because I don't have any shaking on the bottom mirror, only the top one. I have emailed 1a auto. We'll see what they have to say

Yeah it's the main glass. I went on some forums and people said they put some soft foam up behind the corners of the glass and made a huge difference, but I have been too lazy to try it lol it doesn't bother me enough cause I am used to mirrors shaking on my old trucks too. It doesn't bother me much and the huge increase in vision personally makes it worth it to me.

Well i received a call from 1A. They said that it was typical nature of these mirrors to shake and I could do a replacement which wouldn't do any good or return them. Problem is, I LOVE the visibility of these as well as the craftsmanship and quality. If the passenger mirror wasn't so bad then i'd love them. But i think for 300 dollars they are not high enough quality for the price. I'm torn right now...

I hear ya there. Frankly for me it doesn't bother me since mine don't shake that much. And it could be a lot worse i guess that a lot of dodge and Chevy guys have terrible problems with their mirrors shaking chronically from the factory so these are slightly better.
If you wanted to you could go about putting some real small and soft foam or something of the like in the corners to get it to stay put a little more. If you search for the topic of tow mirror glass shaking you'll find lots of results and many potential fixes.

Totally agree. I just used these towing mirrors on a 500 mile camping trip with a 24' travel trailer. There was an unbelievable difference pulling the camper with these towing mirrors as compared to the stock mirrors with the generic extensions. Any mirror shaking was so minor, I really didn't notice or it didn't affect my vision. I told my wife that these mirrors were worth every penny I spent!
