Water in the valley of COPS!

What is causing water to run down to the engine and sits in the valley where the COPS? But, only on the left side?

Still learning all the gremlins on this new to me 05-expy. TIA.

thats funny 'cus my 98 always has rust deposits around the boot of the cop where it meets the plugs. i always wondered but never asked

I see why now so many mis-fired engine codes floating around on the internet, this is a recipe to disaster of our expys.

When you say left side, do you mean passenger? The 1st generations with rear heat/air have a "T" conection in the heater hose above the pass-side cam cover. They were notorious for leaking and dripping on the rear COP and taking it out.

Left side is driver side in the US that is :).

Thanks for the tip but it was definitely rain water, there was no sign of anti-freeze.
