I used indoor paint, I had already started before I realized this... I thought all krylon paint was indoor/outdoor. I'm a ******** :(. But at least I know this process now and can redo it. It only took me eight hours. I did the Eddie look!!

did you clear coat it?

Not yet, krylon SOP states the paint must be fully cured before the clear. Do you think that'll help keep it? I don't want it to look wet and glossy.

After many days in the hot Texas sun, driving the Expy multiple times on the highway and a couple of times in the rain, also highway, the indoor paint is actually holding up well. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1339022277.444643.jpg

How will it hold up when washing? wont it come off after a few washes or any pressurized water hitting it?

I've used my father-in-laws pressure washer to spray the painted moldings and nothing flaked off. I use Aerospace 303 to protect the paint from the other elements, maybe that's why it's holding up so well.

I'm going to purchase the LMC flares and paint them the same color. I just wish I could find a cheaper alternative, LMC wants 500 plus for their flares and if that's not a *****, I can't find one Expy that has them. They could look like ass for all I know since I've failed numerous times at searching for pictures of the flares installed. But LMC is the only company that manufactors flares for the XLT Expys. :(
