I would bet money that it's the plug for the air suspension. I looked under the hood yesterday and found the same plug on the passenger side right next to where I took out the air suspension pump. I tried to find the pump I took out when I removed the air suspension, but couldn't. If I do find it, I will plug it up and send a pic

Righto, so, I'm going to correct myself and say that it is NOT related to the air suspension/compressor.
I'm in the process of ripping out my air suspension, and I finally got around to snagging pics.
Here's the air suspension compressor plug:
and here's the harness I unplugged from it (running down to the wonky relay mounted to the frame/etc:
Bigger and decidedly different than what's shown in the OP. Different gender (male vs. female), different size, keyed vs. unkeyed, etc.
