I have a 1997 eddie bauer 4 wheel drive expedtion that i need all your input on which is the best shocks for handling and able to take these western ny bumpy roads. just put 4 new goodyear wrangler rs tires all new ball joints,4 wheel alinment and its riding stiff so i figure the shocks should be next. i don't go off roading but do carry alot of heavy items lol. so many different types to choose from not wanting to raise or lower it am happy where it is...
thanks any any advise would be appreciated....

I installed Edelbrock IAS shocks on mine 2 years ago and have been very happy with them. Handles noticably better but my original shocks did have about 100,000 miles on them. I would say they are somewhat firm but still a comfortable ride.

silver colored gas adjust bought from CarQuest auto parts. the box's had CQ logos on them so idk if its one marketed for them or what. supposed to be a "performance" type shock not a OE style ride/handling.
