What did you do to the expy today

It's been a busy week... Installed a multi carrier rear bumper for the spare and gas cans, Xenon flares, 40" led light bar, smittybilt X2O 12,000 winch and hidden winch mount...

Holy crap that was a busy week! Did you document any of this? Was it a squeeze to get the flares mounted with the tires on or did you take the wheels off?

I hope you can post up some pics and something about the labor etc.

Here are some before pics... the flares weren't bad at all. Was able to install them with the tires on without any issues. I pre fitted them before sending them off to paint and then took my time prepping the day before the install.

RAZOR you have more room to work with on your rig and it turned out great. I want to paint mine with the same bedliner i used on my front bumper. I just never found the time to sand and primer and paint them, let alone put them on.

Installing them is the easy part... Take your time and they're worth it once installed...

i'm going to plug my expy in warm it up put a few gallons of gas in it and let my family from seattle borrow it well they are in town for chirstmas. atleast i'll get a full tank out of the deal!

I removed that factory antenna and put on the Billet Shorty Short Antenna Black Anodized Ford Expedition antenna that I bought for a mere $12.00 with free shipping.

Works like a charm!

Upgraded sounds

Finally upgraded the sound system.

I'm not crazy about the trim panel from the metra kit, I will be looking for something better at another time.

Nice upgrade! Maybe you can just find a vinyl trim piece in the right color to go around the deck and buffer that Metra kit and dash crack. I like it, kinda wish I had gone that way.

i drove mine! first time in awhile. shes been sitting alot. last two months i've done like one tank a month in it. between being out of town and driving my excursion all the time the expy sat alot. my uncle and aunt from seattle were up for chirstmas with ym cousins and they left me with a full tank after i let them borrow the expy. so i figured what better reason to drive it but free gas! plus it is just a tad better on gas.
