Hi,
I have replaced all my front wheel bearings on my 99' Expedition (rubbing sound was constant) and replaced the driver side rotor as well. It was running smooth for about 4 months and now my driver side bearings are making a rubbing sound once again. What gives?
I packed the new bearings with grease ( I did not use a grease gun for this side..only the passenger side) and installed them on my new rotor.
The only thing I can think of right now is that the replacement rotor was a non-OEM rotor but rather a cheap 'Kragen's' rotor. It looks rather thin ;o(
Would this cause such pain?
Other suggestions?
Thanks in advance
